It's hard to say, other people are wondering about the Mac version and I've yet to find official information about a change of platform plans.  It may still be part of the PC version.

Haven't heard about a PC re-release, but they really should have one, considering how long it's been.

Needing a card from a store does help to control spending, too.  I'll stick with prepaid cards for anything that allows it.  Sony has some work ahead of them to regain the trust of consumers.  I wonder if my personal details were possibly stolen twice, since I have a PSN account and played SOE games in the past?

The timing is bad with Nintendo due to reveal the Wii's successor next month.

Summer classes will be available, but I don't plan on taking any right now.  I'll need a break, and it'll be fun to try out all the new things I learned from HTML Programming and Web Design during that free time.  That's a strange topic for a math teacher to dwell on in class.  0.0  There's virtually no discussion of things outside the course material in my "virtual classrooms", from teachers or students.

Most of my courses last 6 weeks, so they have to move through material quickly, and with multiple courses it gets to be challenging to find time for all the work.  I have about one more week to go in HTML Programming and Introductory Algebra.  My average grade for the winter quarter was an A, and I might maintain that if I work hard in the next several days.  A week from Thursday, the second session of the spring quarter begins, but I'll just have Web Design to worry about through June.  They aren't handling registrations for classes beyond the spring quarter yet, but I'll soon be dealing with that.

Just checked, still "undergoing maintenance".  I've read that when it's finally up, an update will be required, and passwords will have to be reset.  Changing passwords is exactly what everyone has been wanting to do anyway.  I'll be sticking to prepaid cards for all consoles from now on.

SOE is affected too, apparently.  It's been a while since I had an active account for any SOE game, excluding a free-to-play one that I never used a credit card with.

Sony will have a fun E3 in about a month.

It's getting harder and harder to not hear about the security breach.  I bought something on PSN a month ago, but through a coincidence, that card number is no longer valid.  Anyone who's created a PSN account may have had login info stolen, though.  I thought about changing mine tonight through Sony's website, but it seems that requires access to the Playstation Store, which is offline along with PSN.

The console versions will include a code to download the original game.  If it's a used copy, it'll be $10 for the code, which is getting to be a standard practice for secondhand games.  I read that there's a similar procedure for playing online with a used copy of the new Mortal Kombat.  I tend to prefer Japanese fighting games, personally.

I've been using my old Apple mouse with the laptop.  An additional keyboard can also be plugged into one of the USB ports if needed.  I'm getting a wireless mouse, which should let me use the TV for computer games more easily.  (The Apple mouse has a pretty short cord.)  I can manage to move the cursor with the laptop's built-in touch pad, though I wouldn't want to depend on it for long periods.

Got a laptop recently, partly to add flexibility to where and when I can do homework.  It's been working out well for school, and being able to play computer games on my TV through HDMI output is cool, too.

Maybe I'll get to try one at a local store.  There are reports of "black screens of death", but they don't seem to be common.

Photos often make great wallpapers.  This is a small part of a very wide one from Wikipedia's Hong Kong page.  It's from late 2008, they had big Santa displays on some of the buildings to the left and right of the section I picked to use as a wallpaper.  In keeping with the licensing stuff at the site, I should mention that the author of the image is David Iliff, and the license info can be found at, along with the full image.  Kind of big though, my browser had some trouble finishing the download.

Is it a bit like the old holographic images they used to put on cereal boxes?

My current desktop, I was in a mood for Hong Kong after spending much of my English class focusing on China in essays.  Had quite a mess of unorganized assignments, between that class and another.
