I haven't watched new episodes of the show in a while, but used to watch it often, loved the style and music.

What season did you leave off on? You need to catch up before you watch the new ones or you'll be in the dark. A lot changed at the end of the third season, and the first half of the 4th has been crammed so full of stuff. A lot of the fans have been complaining that the episodes should be lengthened to an hour so they don't seem so rushed.

Hmm, oh like season 2 or 3, I'll have to catch up then.  An hour long animated show would be pretty unique.

There used to be a website with the whole series streaming, but it appears to be dead. Adult Swim Online has a couple from the first half of season 4 up. I guess you'll have to rent it. I bought them all off itunes, but not sure if they rent tv shows, like they do with movies.

It could be an hour long, or they could give them more than 13 episodes a season. AS expanded Metalocolypse from 15minutes to 30, I don't see why they couldn't give the Venture Brothers another 15 - 30.

Hmm, I'll see what I can do to watch them.  I've always figured it cost too much time and money to make an hour long cartoon show for a weekly slot.  For a long time AS treated Bleach like it went for an hour, with two every week, but they ended up having to take a long break when they ran out of episodes.

The creators are always saying that they cut huge chunks out of the scripts to make it fit it's time slot, but as it is, they take about 2 years between seasons just to finnish 13 30 minute episodes. Cost is probably a larger part of it, AS shows are on a shoe string budget.

The animation quality in Venture Bros. is pretty decent compared to some of the other shows Adult Swim has had, they put that time to good use.

I think it's the only one they've bothered to issue on Blu-Ray.  The animation quality has been getting better every season.

I'm still a bit confused though, last night's episode pretty much implied that Phantom Limb's limbs are sentient?
