Homework keeps me busy, too.  What things will Outdoor Life be adding?

Not quite as rustic as I was expecting, but sounds like fun.

Barnacle Bay is being released on disk in March. It's going to have extra items not available in the download version. Good thing I didn't waste money on it.

Rumor says the next expansion is called The Sims 3: Generations. Sounds like it could be either a family oriented ep or feature different time periods (which would make sense with The Sims Medieval being released). I'm hoping for the latter.

The linked page is down for maintenance, I'll try it again later.  Lots of ocean-related stuff?  Yeah, adding more time periods would be a lot more interesting than simply expanding a family.

Pirate theme.
I expect Generations would be family related, most of the other players seem to use it to create a fantasy life. Creating sims of real people feels weird to me.

The crew of the Enterprise-D thought it was strange too, in a certain episode of TNG.

Generations has been confirmed...and it focuses on family OTL

Quote
"With Generations, Sims of every age can enjoy new activities! Kids can hang out with friends in tree houses. Teens can pull hilarious pranks. Adults can suffer midlife crises. And so much more!"'

EA accidentally posted information on their website.

Midlife criseses might be fun. I rarely play with kids, they're boring.

Hmm, are pranks limited to just teenagers?

Leaked trailers for Generations, and the 5th expansion, Unleashed.

A lot of people are speculating the Unleashed trailer was leaked because people were so annoyed that Generations wouldn't include pets. I never found the pet expansions to be that great, but I would like horses. Generations' trailer is making me reconsider my no child policy.
Still need to get Medieval and Barnacle bay, and squeeze in time to play them. Have 2 papers due next week, plus I need to get caught up on my Spanish.
