Sounds about right, considering the channel that ran it.  Hopefully the new Munsters won't go in that direction.

Netflix messed up with streaming volume one of the original Addams TV series.  Some episodes seem to have been "misplaced", with several not matching the descriptions Netflix gives.  Without an ongoing story it's not that big of a deal, but I'll let them know about it.

It's a great service, and gets a bit more convenient for me on Monday.  Right now, to watch anything through a PS3, you need to pop in a red disc from Netflix to connect to the service.  They're supposed to release a down-loadable app that will eliminate the need for a disc, and add new functions.  Wiis will still need discs.

I always watched through my computer. I have a better monitor than TV.

My Mac has a pretty good screen, but I'm pretty sure my TV has better audio.  I streamed a movie on the computer earlier this year when it wouldn't work right on the PS3.

Addams Family surprises me sometimes, considering when the show was made.  An exchange the other day went something like...

Wednesday:  Guess what?
Beatnik House Guest:  Satan's coming to dinner?
Wednesday:  That was last week.

While it's more mild than the movies later, it's not nearly as mild as I expected from a 60s show.

I know, for a company who specializes in music, they sure make crappy speakers.

The early 60's weren't as conservative as people like to believe. Just look at some of the movies made back then.

The new PS3 Netflix app works pretty well.  More functions and faster connections.  They want the old red discs "disposed or recycled".

True, things were changing fast by the time Addams Family started.

Watching some of the original Munsters now.  The Addamses wouldn't be caught...  Living eating oatmeal for breakfast.
